The Peak District National Park was the first British National Park and is the largest and by far the
most popular National Park in the UK. It stands out as a large green and unspoilt oasis offering
country lovers everything from dramatic moorland and limestone crags to soft rolling hills and
wooded valleys.
Whether it be Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Castleton’s
many caves or riding the Cable Cars at Matlock Bath there is
something for all ages. Pretty unspoilt towns and villages like
Bakewell, Eyam and Buxton are all within easy reach and offer a
starting point for you to explore.
If walking is your passion, you couldn’t be in a better place.
Baslow village is surrounded by the stunning Derbyshire hills with
varying walks in all directions.
